Motorcyclist Killed In Southeast Columbus After Crash With Truck
The Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred in southeast Columbus involving a motorcyclist and a truck.
At approximately 3:10 p.m., a Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling northbound near Progress Avenue and Moler Road. At the same time, a Ford pickup truck traveling southbound collided with the motorcyclist after attempting to make a left turn into a driveway.
According to reports, the motorcyclist was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the crash. The truck driver was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
